One of the things I like to do to keep myself sharp is to do fun social media illustrations. Usually, I look for little holidays like National Croissant Day to inspire a quick sketch.
I find it really helpful to work through the process of having an idea, sketching, refining and finishing it as a quick exercise, and posting those quick pieces on Instagram gives me a reason to take on these little projects.
